Old And New

Lately I've been hopping around various wips of mine. Today I decided to revisit all of them and update it a little.

Christmas is about 12days away, eventhough I've said that repeately that I wanted to finish this project for the holiday but it's obvious that I'm not going to make it. Nevermind what I promised to myself. I enjoy working on this project. It's something that need lots of concentrations and I rather knit it slowly. I have about 12" now. Next, I'll work on the decrease for armhole section. Will see if I can complete it before new year.

I started this project beginning of December, a baby layette in baby soft for an excolleague of mine whom gave birth to adorable Sophia Grace about 3 months ago. There's no deadline for this project. I was just hoping to break some monotonous working on lace cardi.

I've been wanting to make this for awhile after I saw Erin's version of ruffley scarf. It's a great project to polish my crochet skills. I'm really starting to like this scarf. It's fun, easy and I can do it while watching tv. I'm really getting the hang of crochet again.

I started the voodoo wrist warmers last night and I'm done with the left side. It's really a joy to knit with your own hand dyed yarn. Well, eventhough it turned out rather colorful for my liking, I think I can always save it as a gift. I'm so inspired by Emmy's self stripping sock yarn that she dyed for jaywalker. Next, I'm going to order some Knit Picks dye your own fingering yarn and more kool aid.

Oh, you do such beautiful work! Love the hand dyed yarn. You certainly have a knack for combining colors. What is the top project? Looks like kidsilk haze? The pattern is gorgeous.
