This & That

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
As if I didn't already have enough things to do... I'm making jewelry again, finished putting together three necklaces and a pair of earing on Saturday. Ahhh, doesn't it feel good? I thought I'll never open my beads box again with so much temptation and obsession - knitting, sewing, quilting...life is just too plain without hobbies.

Here's a sneak peek of Sorrel. I haven't work on her much since I cast on early last week. Been busy working on the cable sweater and swatching for the phildar swing jacket. It's coming along well. Now I just have to sit down and decide on colors.

I received a couple of emails asking me where I got those sock yarn for my pomatomus. If you're still interested, go here and check it out. I'm using the 100% merino wool fingering weight in Honey. It's the most gorgeous sock yarn I've seen. Well, not like I know very much about sock yarn anyways. Oh! I got a little treat for myself over the weekend. I know, it's bad. I can't believe I'm buying more and more sock yarn nowadays. If I'm not mistaken it should be on its way. Can't wait to see and fondle with it, more update soon. Hope you all have a great weekend. Cable knitting continues....

Those jewelry you have done are really pretty, I like simple jewelry like yours. Really hope I could do such as well. And the colourway of Sorrel is really nice, I'm sure it will be a gorgeous FO later.

The jewelry looks so delicate and lovely! I haven't done any crafts with my beads lately, just don't want to deal with my messy boxes.
Sorrel is looking great with those pretty colours!

Very unique jewellery. Your sorrel looks very good - the colours knitted up are even better than I imagined. I wonder if the yarn is soft enough for a scarf.

Oooh....I love the second and third necklaces! The stripes from Tapestry are much subtle than I thought it'd be, how does the yarn feel on your hand? Anyway, I'm curious what you got from pureknits ;p

I really love the subtle striping of the Tapestry. Thanks for showing that off, I have been quite curious! :) I am trying to figure out why my feed for your blog has not been updating - it appears that I have missed several blog posts. Glad I checked!

I will be in your neck of the woods next weekend~ I can't wait!

Take care~

Vanessa, the jewelry is amazing! I have my jewelry-making boxes with beads and what not sitting in the front, being crafty takes you to different kinds of them and girl, you are good! Those are so gorgeous!~
And Tapestry is such a cool color of the sweater, cannot wait to see it finished!

That jewelry is gorgeous! I am super impressed.

Thank you for adding me to the Phildar Jacket KAL. I swatched this weekend, and as soon as I get a couple more christmas presents out the way I am starting it.

I have actually been dreaming about it (its an illness) so maybe I will have to start it sooner.
